Introducing... RST's 2020 touring and adventure collection

 ADAM PIGOTT

Integrated airbags and laminated waterproofing lead the way in RST’s new touring and adventure kit for 2020.

RST Pro Series Adventure-X CE textile jacket

Arriving as RST’s priciest adventure jacket, the new Pro Series Adventure-X builds on an already popular range.

Launching at £299.99, the feature-packed textile is one of the first jackets to receive RST’s new X-liner – a thermal liner and Sinaqua waterproof membrane bonded together into one removable layer.

The abrasion-resistant textile outer is reinforced at the shoulders and elbows, while Level 2 CE-approved shoulder, elbow and back armour provides impact protection.

Two large zipped chest vents combine with vents down each arm and two on the back to provide airflow, while stretch panels at the joints give extra flexibility.

The Pro Series Adventure-X jacket is available in sizes S-5XL in four colours – black, white/blue/red, green/ochre and grey/silver.

Matching Adventure-X CE trousers, which attach via a full connecting zip, launch in the same colour options at £219.99 in sizes S-5XL, with a choice of short (30in), regular (32in) or long (34in) leg.

A version of this jacket with an integrated transponder-activated airbag will be available soon.

RST Pro Series Pathfinder CE textile jacket

RST’s new jacket signals a clear mission: bring top-line waterproofing to motorcyclists for the fraction of the cost of Gore-Tex Pro.

The Pathfinder features a SinAqua laminated membrane, which is bonded to the inside of the outer shell to block out rain at the first point of contact. A removable thermal liner has also been added for colder rides.

The Pathfinder meets the base CE Level A standard, and also includes Level 2 shoulder, elbow and back armour, along with tough textile overlays on the elbows and shoulders for increased abrasion resistance.

Zipped vents on the chest, arms and back make life more comfortable in hot climates.

The Pathfinder jacket will launch in black, black/fluo yellow and grey/red at £249.99 in sizes S-5XL.

The matching trousers, which also have a laminated waterproof membrane, will carry an RRP of £199.99 in black, grey/red or black/fluo yellow and be available in sizes S-5XL with a choice of short (30in) or regular (32in) leg.

RST Maverick CE textile jacket

The versatile Maverick textile jacket covers all seasons. It’s fitted with a removable SinAqua waterproof lining and a detachable thermal lining for cold and wet rides, but both can be removed and multiple vents opened on warmer days.

The jacket’s equipped with CE-approved Level 1 shoulder, elbow and back armour, and carries a basic CE A grade approval.

Stretch panels on the joints provide flexibility, while two large outer cargo pockets offer plenty of carrying space.

The Maverick jacket launches in black, silver/black/red, black/grey or black/silver/fluo yellow at £199.99. All colours run S-4XL, but black goes up to 5XL. The matching Maverick trousers launch at £149.99 in four colours in sizes S-5XL.

RST Pro Series Ventilator-X CE textile jacket

Offering maximum ventilation, the Ventilator-X features a mesh front, arms and back with a perforated chest. RST’s new X-liner, which combines the waterproof membrane and thermal liner, is there to give back-up on colder days.

Tough fabric overlays on the elbows and shoulders increase abrasion-resistance, while Level 1 CE-approved shoulder and elbow armour look after impact protection. The Ventilator-X also comes fitted with a CE Level 2 back protector, and the garment is rated to the basic Level A in the latest CE testing standard.

The jacket will be available soon with an RRP of £179.99 in black, silver/black or camo in sizes S-5XL. The matching Ventilator-X trousers are available now in black or black/silver for £129.90 in sizes S-5XL.

RST Atlas CE textile jacket

The final new textile jacket-jean combo in RST’s 2020 range, the Atlas CE, features a fixed waterproof membrane and a removable thermal liner.

Level 1 CE-approved shoulder and elbow armour is included, and there’s a pocket for an optional RST back protector. Two zipped vents on the chest and back provide airflow, while a full connection zip allows the attachment of the matching jeans.

The Atlas CE jacket is available in black, fluo yellow/black, black/blue and grey/black in sizes S-8XL for £149.99.

The matching trousers are available in the same colours in sizes S-5XL with a choice of short (30in) or regular (32in) lengths. They carry a launch price of £129.99.

RST Ventilator-X CE textile gloves

Made to be worn with the two-piece suit of the same name, the Ventilator-X gloves are highly perforated with mesh fingers.

Approved to CE Level 1, the gloves have hard knuckle protection and a reinforced palm with padding. Reflective detailing on the back of the hand helps keep riders visible at night.

The Ventilator-X gloves will launch soon at £39.99 in sizes S-2XL, in black or silver/black.

RST X-Raid CE mixed waterproof gloves

The X-Raid gloves are made from abrasion-resistant Cordura and have leather overlays on the palm.

A SinAqua waterproof membrane keeps hands dry while a long cuff with three velcro straps keeps the gloves secure. Hard knuckle armour and a plastic palm slider provide protection.

The gloves are available in black or black/beige in XS-2XL, for £54.99.

RST Adventure-X CE leather gloves

Made from soft-touch leather with synthetic leather overlays, the Adventure-X gloves complement the new Adventure-X CE textile two-piece.

Pre-curved fingers and stretch panels on the back of the hand and fingers make the gloves more comfortable to wear, while hard knuckle armour and scaphoid padding keep them protected.

The Adventure-X gloves launch at £49.99 in black or grey/silver in sizes S-2XL.

RST Atlas CE mixed waterproof gloves

The new Atlas textile gloves feature a leather palm overlay, hard knuckle armour and scaphoid padding. The long cuff fits over a jacket sleeve, and can be tightened using two Velcro straps and a drawstring.

A waterproof lining keeps hands dry, and a rubber blade makes it easy to wipe rain water from the visor.

The Atlas gloves launch at £49.99 in black, in sizes XS-2XL.

RST Atlas CE waterproof boots

The sole addition to RST’s 2020 boot collection is designed to be worn with the new Atlas CE suit.

The Atlas boots feature a Hipora waterproof membrane, and use a dotted reflective material on each side to keep riders visible under a car’s headlights.

Long stretch panels down the front of each boot offer more flexibility, while ankle, heel and toe reinforcements provide protection.

The Atlas boots are expected to launch at £99.99 in black, in UK sizes 5-13.
